Morro Bay to Santa Monica
This was our last day on the coast road and by the looks of the weather forecast we are going to miss the sea breeze. In the mean time we enjoyed the great scenery yet again.
The views started first thing in the morning as we turned left out of the motel this is what we saw. A couple of minutes drive around the bay and we stopped to watch the seals have their morning play right near the edge of the road.
It is a bit hard to see but trust me they are seals!
The beautiful coast road. To bad you can't see it through all the RV's camped on the side of the road. There are literally hundreds of the them!
At last you can see the water again, but not for long.
Malibu! Expensive beach house's and lots of people.
Technically the end of Route 66 but for us it is just the beginning.
Our last coastal dinner at Bubba Gumps.
So many people!
Santa Monica fun park.
Something for everyone :)
The 3rd Street Promenade. A great place to have a coffee and people watch.
Not the cheapest or the best hotel we have stayed in but at least we could park the bike close to the room.
Really close!
One of the great things about being on the bike is that as soon as people see your from Australia on your own bike they want to talk to you. Which is exactly what happened earlier today, on our first coffee break.
