Florence, Oregon to Eureka, California 10th July 2013

The Oregon Coast Road continued

Did I say on yesterday's post that it was a bit cool?  Change that to cold, about 14 degrees cold.  Time for the warm and the plastic liners in the jackets.
The scenery was spectacular again today, from the coast to the start of the Redwood regions.
All in all another great ride.

Early morning walk through old town Florence.

Yummy Breakfast to start the day at the Beachcomber.

Lots of these guys sharing the road, not really what you want to see coming the other way around the bends.

 Morning tea at
Brandon complete with a little bit of local art.

There are so many wood sculptures in  this area but the ones near the water front in Brandon are stunning.  This Seahorse was our favourite.
Some more photo's of the great scenery.

Well it's true, every thing is bigger in America.

EUREKA!
We found water.

This little town has some of the prettiest buildings I have seen.

Some group that probably have a secret handshake own this one.

The Carter lodge.

They need a few of these in this area.
