Las Vegas Sin City
Man this place is hot and I don't mean the girls either, although I haven't heard any complaints from Maurice in that regard.
It is a fun city though with lots going on all the time. If you haven't been before and your planning a trip, don't come in Summer school holidays. There are thousands of families (I mean families with little primary school age kids) everywhere even in the Casino's. It's not that I don't like kids, I just don't think a Casino or town for that matter that is built on gambling, drinking and generally adult behaviour is the right sort of place for them. Having said that if your a kid at heart then some of the rides in & on the Casino's are great!!!
We only took a couple of hundred photo's. The elaborate sets these places have are amazing you can spend days just looking at them. I think the Venetian was our favourite although we took Pauline & Garry's advice and went down to the old Fremont Street and that area is a lot of fun.
Inside the Wynn Casino
Still inside, if I had my choice this is where I would stay next time.
Outside the Venetian
The roof of the fashion mall. Maurice didn't want to go in but he loved the roof.
Even Macca's has a bit of bling in Vegas.
Another of Polly & Garry's tips.
Dinner at the Harley Davidson Cafe.
"Easy rider".
Another one for Karen.F.
One of the more unusual restaurants we saw.
Guess what this Casino is called?
And this is the one we stayed at
The Stratosphere.
A bit far away from the action but the view from the top is fantastic.
Encore & Wynn has a pool area called the beach, the place to be if your aged between 21 (legal drinking age) and 25 and are prepared to wait for hours standing in line with your perfect make-up, high heels and bikini.
Inside the Mirage.
Inside Treasure Island.
The Sirens custom made motorcycle
One of the props for the Treasure Island show.
He can't help himself.
Inside the Luxor Casino pyramid.
Fremont Experience
