Official retirement day!
Maurice's 65th Birthday.
The first stop on Maurice's birthday ride was at this hotrod museum in Santa Rosa. Unfortunately we haven't won lotto yet so he couldn't have any for a birthday present.
Just after passing the state border from New Mexico into Texas we drove through Glenrio where Billy Connelly interviewed the towns only resident Roxanne.
Then was on to the Midway Diner for some great birthday pie and some great hospitality.
With a belly full of pie we headed on toward our final destination of Amarillo but on the way we had to stop so Maurice could indulge his inner child at the Cadillac Ranch.
To finish his birthday off we had dinner at the Big Texan Steak House and the best way to get there was a ride in a big ol' Limo!
