National Park overload!
What a great day!
We started off the morning in Waterton National Park in Alberta, Canada. When Maurice paid for our two Latte's we thought we were back in Paris for a minute, $13.50.
Anyway the Latte's were good and the day got better and better.
We took a cruise on board the International and were rewarded with great scenery and best of all the sighting of a Bald Eagle and then a Black Bear and her Cub.
During the cruise you also cross the border between Canada & America. We didn't cross over this time but it is on the list for next time!
After the cruise we headed out of the park and across the border into Glacier National Park, Montana.
We travelled along the "Going-to-the-Sun" road but decided not to stop on the pull-outs until tomorrow. Lucky we did as a massive storm hit that felled trees and knocked over three Campers. One couple we talked to said a tree fell down right in front of them!
Because of the storm West Glacier Village was with out power for a few hours. Normally that would be a bad thing but it meant we started up a conversation with our motel neighbours and it ended up a really good night. Thanks guys.
